Recently we developed our #coopcares initiative! We would like everyone near & far to see the many relationships we have established over the years. We have more great #COOPCARES projects ahead for the Hayward community in the works, and cannot wait to unveil them soon!

As a commitment to our community, we too support local businesses, organizations, and individuals. For many years we have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars back into the people and businesses of Hayward and surrounding communities. From the great gifts given at our own Annual Meetings for many years to giving great discounts to other local businesses to support their own giveaways; we continue to strive toward working together to make this community better everyday.

TRUE VALUE ADVANTAGE PROGRAM

The True Value Advantage Program is designed to help local entrepreneurs and tradespeople.  The True Value Advantage Program provides a 10% DISCOUNT to those who join the program.  The discount is available on all tools, hardware, paint and parts.  Exclusions do apply to power tools and appliances, but the rest of the inventory allows contractors, and small business owners to purchase at a discount to help keep their costs down.  In 2023, $88,000 was discounted for True Value Advantage members.  

To sign up, just stop into the Northern Lakes True Value, and present your business card to be entered into the True Value Advantage Program.  

PATRONAGE PROGRAM

The Northern Lakes Cooperative offers a Patronage Program which offers up to a 6% rebate at the end of the fiscal year to all Co-op members.  This includes shopping at any of the family of businesses including: 

• Northern Lakes True Value
• Northern Lakes Auto Center
• Northern Lakes Cenex
• Northern Lakes Propane

To join, just stop in to any of the of the businesses mentioned above and sign up for the Patronage Program.  Rebates are provided 

CREDIT CARD USAGE FEES

The 3% to 4% credit card usage fee has almost become the standard for paying for goods and services.  The good news is that the Northern Lakes True Value does not charge you this fee, and those savings go right into your pocket.
